Description
Corian solid surface an advance composite product was introduced in 1967. Since then it continues to be one of the most popular brand of solid surface material worldwide. DuPont makes Corian from a mixture of one third acrylic polymer and two third natural minerals and the main ingredients are Alumina Trihydrate followed by Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA). It’s used in both residential and commercial applications and widely accepted for its durability, functionality and versatility. Conventional joinery/woodworking tools can be used for fabricating this product. Furthermore, it is available in various standard colors and thicknesses. Price of Corian varies with thickness, width and color. DuPont offers 10 years limited residential warranty as well for this product. Deep color technology, introduced recently gives Corian an extra edge in the next generation of solid surfaces.
